1988: They got together at a party at Emma's house and Dex thought her name was Anna. |
They are graduating from university and party til the morning. The decide to go back to Emma's place. Emma related a story that they met before and Dex thought her name was Julie.

1988: They had been kissing and talking for eight hours. She tells him he should brush his teeth, and he agrees, telling her her breath smells like wine and fags. |
They arrive at her flat and she says she has to brush her teeth because her breath smells like wine and fags. |

1988: Emma returns from the bathroom dressed in her cap and gown. Dex is laying in bed waiting for her. |
When Emma comes out Dex is putting on his pants planning to leave.

1988: Dex starts to kiss her, and she says they should just cuddle. |
Emma sees Dex planning to leave and tells him to just go. He says he will stay, and that they can be friends. He gets back in bed and they cuddle. |
