   The story takes place in Verona, Italy. The location is Verona Beach, Florida, in the United States.
   The story takes place when it was written in the late 1500's. It is the 1990's.
   Fighting between the Montagues and the Capulets involves swords and fencing. They use hand guns.
   This doesn't happen. Romeo takes Ecstasy before going to the party at the Capulet house.
   Romeo finds Juliet in the crypt and believing that she is dead, drinks poison and dies. Juliet wakes up after he has died. Juliet wakes up after Romeo has taken the poison but before he has died. They share a last kiss.
