This doesn't happen. The main characters travel to Viltvodle VI and meet the new character Humma Kavula. Kavula arranges a deal with Zaphod Beeblebrox, giving him the coordinates to Magrathea in exchange for Zaphod bringing back a special weapon from the planet. Zaphod's second head is taken as collateral by Humma Kavula, and while leaving the planet, the main characters are attacked by Vogons, who manage to take Trillian prisoner
The planet Vogsphere is described, but the characters never go there as it was said to have been long abandoned. They travel to the Vogon planet, Vogsphere, where they rescue Trillian, before continuing to Magrathea.
Zaphod is pursued by Galactic Police for stealing the Heart of Gold. The Vogons disappear from the story altogether after Ford and Arthur are rescued by the Heart of Gold. The Vogons and a new character, Galactic Vice-President Questular Rontok chase the Heart of Gold, to save Zaphod from his kidnapper, who happens to be himself.
Trillian was fairly ambivalent toward Arthur and never really a romantic interest. They fall in love.
The creation of the second Earth is suspended indefinitely. The main characters escape Magrathea one way or another, and eventually end up at the Restaurant without restoring the Earth. Earth is restored completely back to normal and then the main characters set off for the Restaurant at the End of the Universe.
Ford Prefect has red hair and is assumed to be white. He is a black man with black hair.
Zaphod Beeblebrox sought only fame and riches, of which he believed he would find loads on Magrathea, due to their business of manufacturing custom planets that was so expensive and lucrative that it collapsed the galactic economy, leading Magrathea to close until someone could again afford their services. Zaphod was not interested in riches, but rather in the lasting fame of finding the Ultimate Question.
Arthur Dent wanted only to return to his home on Earth, and to find a cup of good tea. Arthur has a change of heart and chooses to continue exploring the galaxy, leaving behind a chance to return to Earth.
Trillian is described as having a vaguely Middle Eastern appearance. She is a white american.
Ford convinces Prosser to lie in front of the bulldozer in place of Arthur while Ford and Arthur go to the pub. Ford gives the demolition workers beer to distract them from their work.
The Heart of Gold is described as being shaped like a running shoe. It is shaped like a teapot.
The missile that turned into a whale cracks open an entrance into the Magrathean underground when it hits the ground, which Ford, Zaphod and Trillian go through, Zaphod telling Arthur and Marvin to stay behind and guard the entrance. The heroes land on Magrathea and find a transporter device, which Trillian, Ford and Zaphod go through. Arthur is reluctant to try, but when he does, he find that it has stopped working, and is forced to stay with Marvin.
The Galactic Police pursuing Zaphod suffocate after their life support suits malfunction as a result of Marvin having talked their ship's computer into committing suicide. The Vogons pursuing Zaphod are incapacitated after Marvin uses the POV gun on them, making them all hopelessly depressed.
This doesn't happen Deep Thought gives them the POV weapon which continues the Humma Kavula subplot.
Zaphod Beeblebrox's heads are Left and right of each other. Zaphod Beeblebrox's second heads is somewhat below his own head. His first, looks like any other normal head.
Vogon ship described to be yellow Is a grayish tone and looks like a skyscraper
The vogon ships are flat The vogon Ships are upright cuboids
