In the Book In the Movie
   The Hobbit's were captured by Borrow-wight. They obtained weapons while there. They were captured. They were given swords by Aragorn.
   The sword Narsil was broken in two pieces. The sword is first seen at Rivendell and it is broken into six pieces.
   This doesn't happen. Lurtz, an uruk mortally wounds Boromir and is killed by Aragorn
   Pippin throws a rock into the mines alerting the Orcs of their presence. He allows a dead dwarf to fall into the mines.
   Boromir threw rocks into the water at the Gates of Moria. Frodo stops him. Merry and Pippin are throwing rocks and are told to stop by Aragorn.
