When 626 is confined to a prison cell, a lab tech forcibly extracts a sample of 626’s body fluid and injects it into a weapons system. Captain Gantu tells him that the guns are locked onto genetic signature and will only shoot at him. 626 bites Captain Gantu’s finger; Captain Gantu threatens to kill 626 until a junior officer reminds him he is not allowed to do so while on duty. |
After being sent straight from Dr. Dr. Jumba’s trial to the space ship prison cell, a prison guard informs 626 of the guns being locked on his genetic signature.

Dr. Jumba is on the ship 626 escaped from when the Grand Counsilwoman assigns him to capture 626. The Grand Counsilwoman denies a trigger happy gunner permission to gas Earth after Agent Pleakley tells her of the Mosquito re-population efforts.

Agent Pleakley is very opposed to using Dr. Jumba to re-capture 626 and makes various suggestions for other more acceptable agents. Agent Pleakley is terrified when the Grand Counsilwoman assigns him to watch over Dr. Jumba; this is amusing to Dr. Jumba. Agent Pleakley is dressed in shoulder boards and a buttoned down shirt. |
Agent Pleakley is excited to go to Earth to capture 626 even though he is told it will likely result in his death. Dr. Jumba insists he does not need a babysitter. Agent Pleakley is dressed as a cowboy. |

Lilo explains that she had to get peanut butter for the sandwich instead of feeding Pudge tuna fish. She gets into an argument with another girl, tackles her, bites her and punches her in the face. Lilo is mocked by the other girls for her hand sewn cloth doll. Nani does not have a truck. |
Lilo is late for her hula dancing performance. She is mocked by the other girls for wearing “trash” (the fishing lure) around her wrist instead of a friendship bracelet like the other girls her age. Lilo is distracted by the absence of her sister (Nani’s truck failed to start) and bumps into the other girls while dancing and falls down. She then looses her temper and violently pushes another girl off of the stage.

On the way from the school to home, Nani is nearly hit by social worker Cobra Bubbles when she runs out into the road. Cobra shows up at their house while Nani is trying to open up the door that Lilo nailed shut. Loli asks if Cobra Bubbles ever killed anyone; he does not say. He gives Lilo a card so she can call him the next time she is left alone. |

626 escapes from the shelter briefly, but is about to be attacked by Dr. Jumba until Agent Pleakley stops him. 626 re-enters the shelter where he sees Lilo and disguises himself as a dog by retracting two of his arms and his antenna. He says “hi” to Lilo and hugs her. Lilo insists to a doubtful Nani that 626 is perfect and names him Stitch. |
After leaving the shelter, 626 is attacked by Dr. Jumba and Agent Pleakley with dart guns. Soon after Agent Pleakley is accidentally shot by Dr. Jumba with a dart and collapses. 626 re-enters the shelter and disguises himself as a dog by retracting his extra arms and antenna. The shelter employee and Mrs. Tutu try to talk Lilo out of adopting 626, but she insists on adopting him. Nani is mad at Mrs. Tutu for allowing the adoption. |

Stitch is set loose at Nani’s home where he plays with and disturbs the chickens. Lilo tells Stitch that he has to play nice while Nani and Mrs. Tutu argue about adopting Stitch. Mrs. Tutu says it will be good for Lilo to have a pet. Nani tells Lilo that Stitch is going back to the shelter in the morning.

Nani drops Lilo off out in town while she goes to work. Lilo and Stitch happen upon Lilo’s classmates, one of whom calls Stitch the ugliest thing she has ever seen. Stitch sees Dr. Jumba and Agent Pleakley watching them; he steals the girl’s tricycle and takes Lilo with him to find a large city to cause destruction in. After a quick tour of the entire island of Kauai, Lilo talks about how it is nice to live on an island with no large cities. Stitch starts to convulse and collapses on the ground. |
Lilo and Stitch are dropped off in town to play by themselves by Mrs. Tutu. Lilo sees her classmates; they insult Stitch. One of the girl’s has a small electric car; Stitch tosses her out of the car, hot wires it and takes off with Lilo to tour the island in search of a large city to cause destruction in. Stitch has a temper tantrum when he realizes he is on a small island with no cites. |

Lilo and Stitch play around while on their own. When Stitch misbehaves, Lilo squirts Stitch with a water bottle; Stitch grabs it from her and throws it away. They goof off while Dr. Jumba and Agent Pleakley watch from close by and mock him. Dr. Jumba thinks Stitch will grow frustrated without a mission of chaos and give himself up. |

While eating at the Luau where Nani works, they meet David. David is trying to date Nani, but she is too busy. David performs with lit torches and accidently set a small fire on a thatched roof. Dr. Jumba and Agent Pleakley lure Stitch towards them with a chicken leg and then capture him briefly. Nani rescues him from Agent Pleakley by throwing a pitcher of water on him. Nani is fired by her boss after the disturbance. When Lilo asks if she was the reason why Nani was fired, Nani says the owner was a vampire and wanted her to join his legion of the undead. Lilo says “I knew it”. |
While at the Luau where Nani works, Lilo and stitch play with the soda dispenser guns at the bar, dress up the pit roasted pig with a hat and sunglasses. Stitch starts tossing tiki torches into the air and accidentally sets some of the luau tables on fire. Nani is fired from her job. |

Upon arriving home, Stitch causes more trouble by making a mess. Nani says they have to take him back; Lilo reminds Nani that Ohana means family and no one gets left behind or forgotten. |

While spying on Stitch at Nani’s house, Agent Pleakley is swarmed by mosquitoes; he is initially elated. He screams when they start sucking his blood. He is later seen covered in bandages. |

While Nani is talking on the phone with David about Stitch, Lilo is trying to give him a bath, but he falls into the toilet, then hides by clinging to the ceiling fan. While this is happening, Agent Cobra Bubbles is listening in nearby with a transmitter/receiver. After listening to the havoc in the house, Bubbles decides to contact the social worker and go under cover. |

Stitch looks through Lilo’s books and asks Lilo to explain the Ugly Duckling story book to him. He is captivated by it. Lilo plays some Elvis records for Stitch and later shows Nani how Stitch can use one of his claws as a phonograph needle and his mouth as a speaker. Nani is shocked and confused. |
Lilo shows how Stitch can be a phonograph, but Nani is too distracted by her phone to notice anything unusual.

Cobra Bubbles arrives at the home and informs Nani that he knows she lost her job; Nani claims to have quit. Stitch immediately throws a book at Bubbles, knocking off and breaking his sunglasses. He tells Nani that “thus far you have been adrift in the sheltered harbor of my patience”. When Bubbles returns he expects Stitch to be a model citizen, and Nani to have a new job. |
Social worker Mrs. Kekoa arrives with Cobra Bubbles who she introduces as the social services director. Mrs. Kekoa talks to Nani about losing her job while Bubbles talks to Lilo about her new dog. Cobra Bubbles plucks some hair from Stitch who is shocked; Lilo takes offense and notices the tattoos on his hand. Cobras says, “Oh, you can read?”. |

Nani goes on a quest for a new job, with Lilo and Stitch tagging along while Lilo tries to make him into a model citizen. Stitch manages to cause trouble at each place Nani goes job searching and interferes with the job search. She almost lands a job as a lifeguard, but while Stitch is doing an Elvis impersonation, he freaks out at a crowd that surrounds him and causes a riot. Cobra Bubbles observes the beach disturbance. |
Nani drives her pickup out to a business to ask for a job, she brings Lilo and Stitch while Dr. Jumba and Agent Pleakley follow on electric scooters. Lilo tries to teach Stitch how to behave and not break stuff; she fails. Stitch makes a bad impression everywhere they go and Nani fails to get hired anywhere. Lilo shows Nani an ad for a surfing instructor. Nani impressed people with her skills at the class while David and Lilo also go surfing.

After the beach incident, David arrives with two surf boards; Nani and Stitch on one board, David and Lilo on the other. Stitch is initially apprehensive, then excited. Stitch watches the couple having fun on the beach then brings a board to Lilo asking for a ride. |

While Dr. Jumba and Agent Pleakley observe Stitch, Dr. Jumba notices that Stitch has lost his fear of the water. Nani brings Lilo and Stitch down a large wave; Dr. Jumba, while wearing scuba gear, bumps their board and they fall off. Stitch surfaces and clings to Lilo; Dr. Jumba grabs Stitch and drags him down, but Stitch is hanging onto Lilo and she is taken under. Nani saves Lilo while Stitch bites Dr. Jumba’s scuba tank causing Dr. Jumba and Agent Pleakley to be flung out to sea. David rescues a drowning Stitch and brings him to shore. Cobra Bubbles is there watching; he says he has to take Lilo away from her the next morning. David blames Stitch for their problems, making Stitch very sad. |
Dr. Jumba and Agent Pleakley try to ram Nani’s surfboard with a wave runner. They wipe out and Stitch drags Lilo under while trying to stay afloat. Nani rescues Lilo and David rescues Stitch. Lilo is brought to the hospital in an ambulance. Lilo is going to be fine, but Nani cannot afford the hospital bill. Mrs. Kekoa tells Nani that she will have to give up custody of Lilo so she can be properly cared for.

Nani tries to explain to Lilo their situation; Lilo is confident that Nani will find a job. Nani sings Aloha ‘Oe to Lilo. Lilo tells Stitch that her parents died in a car accident; she asks if Stitch has a family. Lilo says Stitch can be part of her family. Stitch leaves the house with the Ugly Duckling book. |
Nai says that they have to make some changes and live apart for a while. Lilo does not really understand. Nani plays the ukelele for Lilo sings for Lilo. Stitch walks back to the dog shelter and sleeps in his little cage. |

She fires them and threatens them with prison for not capturing 626. Dr. Jumba is overjoyed as they no longer have the follow the rules. The Grand Councilwoman sends Captain Gantu after 626. |
While in a hotel after they failed to capture Stitch, the Grand Councilwoman calls Agent Pleakley and Dr. Jumba to berate them on their lack of progress and allowing the humans to know what is going on. She orders Agent Pleakley to take control of the operation and secure Dr. Jumba for transport back to their planet. Dr. Jumba instead detains Agent Pleakley in a storeroom. Captain Gantu is not in the 2025 version. |

While in the forest, Dr. Jumba encounters Stitch, who is waiting for his family. Dr. Jumba explains that Stitch has no family as he made him. Dr. Jumba tells Stitch that he was built to destroy and can never belong. Dr. Jumba wants Stitch to come quietly so he can take him apart, but Stitch runs away. Dr. Jumba is a self-described “evil genius”, but not cruel. |
Mrs. Takaua and Cobra Bubbles arrive to take Lilo away, but she is not there as she has gone out looking for Stitch; she finds him back at the dog shelter. Stitch explains that he is bad. Dr. Jumba suddenly appears at the dog shelter via a portal and tries to take Stitch. Stitch shoots the portal gun at him and Dr. Jumba ends up cycling between holes in the ceiling and the floor. Dr. Jumba is a cruel person.

A tearful Lilo gets up in the morning and tells Nani that Stitch is gone, and she is glad he is gone. David knocks on the door and tells Nani that he found her a job at a nearby store. Nanai leaves Lilo alone “for a few minutes” and tells her to lock the door. |

Stitch runs into the house while Dr. Jumba chases him. Dr. Jumba shoots a blaster at Stitch who holds the energy blast in his hands then throw it back at Dr. Jumba. Stitch and Lilo modify her doll into an explosive that temporarily stuns Dr. Jumba. Dr. Jumba proceeds to throw plates at Stitch, wrecking the house roof. Dr. Jumba offers to take Stitch apart and put him back together, make him taller and not so fluffy; Stitch says he likes fluffy. |
Lilo and Stitch run home. Lilo tries to order a pizza via the phone (it is the only phone number she has) but drops the phone when Stitch enters the room and makes her hide. Dr. Jumba enters the house; Lilo and Stitch use the portal gun to escape to another room. Dr. Jumba starts destroying their house out of malice after Lilo and Stitch leave. Lilo goes back to the house to keep him from destroying her keepsakes; Stitch fights Dr. Jumba to protect Lilo. Dr. Jumba tells Lilo that Stitch chose her at the shelter for his own protection, this makes Lilo upset. A dejected Stitch then gives himself up to Dr. Jumba.

Lilo calls Cobra Bubbles and tells him that aliens are attacking her house and that they want her dog. Cobra gets very worried when she tells him that her dog (Stitch) found the chainsaw. |
David, Nani, Mrs. Tutu and Cobra Bubbles show up at the wrecked house; Agent Pleakley tells them that Lilo and Stitch are on Dr. Jumba’s ship and headed away. |

Dr. Jumba takes Stitch to his ship via the portal. He says he will turn him into 627 and by taking away his capacity for love, he will be truly destructive. With 627 by his side, Dr. Jumba will be able to dominate the Galactic Council.

Stitch tries to shoot Dr. Jumba with his blaster, Dr. Jumba pushes a carrot into the muzzle. Agent Pleakley brings Lilo to safety just before the blaster explodes along with the house. Nani rushes home to see Cobra putting Lilo into his car as fireman put out the burning house. |

Lilo runs away as Cobra and Nani argue. She finds Stitch in the forest with a partially burned photos of her parents that she treasured. Lilo gets mad and tells Stitch that he ruined everything. Stitch reveals his true form (four arms, two legs) to Lilo. Lilo gets mad and pushes Stitch away just as Captain Gantu shoots a net at them and captures them both. |

Captain Gantu walks toward his ship with Lilo and Stitch; he puts them in a glass cylinder at the rear of his ship. Nani sees him fly away with Lilo and is heartbroken. Stitch quickly escapes from the glass cylinder and tries to rescue Lilo, but falls to the ground. Nani attacks Lilo with a tree branch and demands that he talk. When Stitch talks, Nani freaks out again. Suddenly Dr. Jumba and Agent Pleakley capture Stitch. They try to ignore Nani, but she demands to know where Lili is. When they claim to not know who she is, Nani describes Lilo as a “little girl, she has black hair and brown eyes and she hangs around with that THING!” She is pointing at Stitch. |
Dr. Jumba flies away in his spaceship with Stitch captive inside a small glass room and Lilo as a stowaway. |

Agent Pleakley and Dr. Jumba initially refuse to help, but Stitch quickly talks them into it after Nani sobs. All four ride away on a stolen motorcycle to their spacecraft hidden in the forest. |

Dr. Jumba’s spacecraft approaches Captain Gantu’s spacecraft from behind. Captain Gantu is about to tell the Grand Counsilwoman that he is returning with 626 when he sees Dr. Jumba and Stitch in the spacecraft next to him. Stitch leaps from Dr. Jumba’s ship to Captain Gantu’s and starts breaking into the glass cylinder on the exterior of Captain Gantu’s ship holding Lilo captive. Captain Gantu fries Stitch with the rocket engines; Stitch falls to the ground on the Big Island of Hawaii. |
Stitch starts ripping apart whatever he can get his hands on from his confined space. While Dr. Jumba tries to stop Stitch from wrecking his ship, Lilo starts pushing random buttons and releases Stitch. Stitch blows open a hatch and Dr. Jumba is sucked out of the spacecraft. The ship crashes into the ocean near the shore. Stich rescues Lilo from the bottom by lifting up ship wreckage, but Lilo is unable to surface while holding onto Stitch. Stitch breaks Lilo’s grip on his arm so Lilo can surface while he sinks back to the bottom. |

As Captain Gantu closes in to attack, Stitch hijacks a large fuel truck and drives it into the Volcano National Park. Stitch rips open the tanker; he explodes into the air towards Captain Gantu’s ship. Stitch crashes through the windshield and tosses Captain Gantu out onto Dr. Jumba’s ship. Captain Gantu destroys his own ship with his blaster, but Stitch rescues Lilo and jumps onto Dr. Jumba’s ship; he holds Lilo and Captain Gantu to keep them from falling. Dr. Jumba’s ship lands in the ocean near where Daivd is surfing. David brings them to shore. |
Nani and Daivd swim out to bring Lilo back to shore, Stitch is left on the ocean bottom. Nani swims back to get Stitch, but has to walk on the ocean bottom to bring him back. Stitch is unconscious and a defibrillator does not work, so they use jumper cables on him using Nani’s truck battery to revive him.

Stitch is immediately taken into custody by the Grand Counsilwoman who is waiting on the beach with her security guards. Captain Gantu is fired; Dr. Jumba and Agent Pleakley are denied credit for capturing Stitch. |
The Grand Counsilwoman arrives to take Stitch into custody. Stitch allows the guards to handcuff him. Dr. Jumba is retrieved from the ocean by another spacecraft and taken into custody. |

Stitch asks the Grand Counsilwoman if he can say goodbye. Stitch introduces Nani and Lilo as his family. He says they are little and broken, but still good. Agent Pleakley asks the Grand Counsilwoman if Stitch really has to go; she says the rules are absolute. When Cobra Bubbles reminds Lilo that she bought Stitch from the shelter, Lilo tells the Grand Councilwoman that she owns Stitch and that taking him away would be stealing. The Grand Counsilwoman uses Lilo’s ownership of Stitch as an excuse to exile Stitch on Earth and place Nani’s family under the official protection of the United Galactic Federation. She also recognizes Cobra Bubbles from his earlier work with the CIA at Roswell in 1973. |
Stitch asks the Grand Counsilwoman if he can say goodbye. Stitch introduces Nani and Lilo as his family. He says they are little and broken, but still good. Agent Pleakley asks the Grand Counsilwoman if Stitch can stay with his new family; she says the Counsil would require supervision and “who wants to stay on this dilapidated mosquito pond?”. Agent Pleakley volunteers to stay, but the Grand Counsilwoman refuses, until Cobra Bubbles agrees to keep the whole incident a secret. She then says Stitch will be sentenced to exile on Earth.

The Grand Counsilwoman tells her guards not to let Dr. Jumba and agent Pleakley on her ship. The aliens (except for Dr. Jumba and agent Pleakley) leave. Cobra Bubbles tells Nani that he saved Earth by convincing an alien race that mosquitoes were an endangered species. David, Agent Pleakley, Dr. Jumba and Nani fix her house; it is much different and more impressive than before. |
The Grand Counsilwoman and her guards leave Earth. The house is repaired. Mrs. Tutu offers to foster Lilo in her home (David is her son). Nani will go back to college and get her degree in marine biology. |

The film ends with a montage of Stitch being a homemaker, the family celebrating a birthday and Christmas with Cobra Bubbles and the aliens, Stitch and Lilo hula dancing at the Merrie Monarch Festival, Nani catching Stitch prancing around while wearing one of her bras on his head and a towel for a cape, and a series of vacation photos including one at Graceland. Nani and Daivd are now a couple. |
The films ends with Cobra Bubbles visiting Mrs. Tutu. While Lilo video chats with her sister, Nani uses the portal gun to visit Lilo in her bedroom. Cobra Bubbles checks on them but does not notice Nanai in bed with Lilo and Stitch. There is a photo montage of the Pelekai family along with Stitch.
